Golf Charity Day
Mitch Jones
Porter Davis (long time clients of A1) held their annual charity Golf Day, we were thrilled to be invited and to put in for what is an incredible cause.
The team at Porter Davis have been supporting the Salem Orphanage in Kenya for some time now, and have an ongoing commitment to them, making monthly donations towards keeping the Orphanage and local village as liveable as possible. Last year their contributions built an entire new school.
Their commitment to making a difference inspired us to also open our purse strings, donating a 2005 signed Machester United jersey, and matching the first round of drinks dollar value with a generous donation towards the cause. We were thrilled the jersey went for over $1,000; Mitch Jones also made a contribution by purchasing a day at the Presidents Cup.

Resident A1 golf hotshot Karl Simity won the longest drive competition for the day, but sadly lost the fashion stakes wearing some pretty obnoxious pants!
Porter Davis and the participants raised over $12,000 in total, we are inspired by their efforts and we were proud to be part of this fundraising initiative.
